What Do Undyed and Unbleached Mean?

Undyed means that no textile color has been added to the cotton. The socks retain the fiber’s naturally warm off-white, cream or ecru appearance.

Unbleached means the cotton has not been conventionally whitened to produce a bright optical-white finish.

Because the color comes from the natural cotton itself, slight differences in shade may occur between production batches. These subtle variations are normal characteristics of minimally processed natural fibers—not defects.

100% Organic Combed Cotton

The main sock fabric is made from 100% organic combed cotton. Combing removes shorter fibers and aligns the remaining cotton fibers, helping create a smoother and more consistent yarn.

Cotton is breathable, familiar and practical for children’s everyday socks. The natural-fiber construction makes these socks suitable for wearing inside school shoes, sneakers, boots and other everyday footwear.

No polyester, nylon, acrylic, spandex or elastane is blended into the main sock fabric.

A Secure Cuff Without Synthetic Fiber in the Sock Fabric

A small natural-rubber thread is used inside the cuff to help the sock remain comfortably in place. This thread is completely wrapped in organic cotton, so cotton—not exposed rubber—touches the skin.

This construction provides gentle hold while maintaining the natural-fiber character of the socks.

Caring for Organic Cotton Socks
