Italian Manufacturer & Our US Representation

EGi, MaRe and Basic Cotton are Italian garment brands manufactured by Maglificio Ma.Re. TITTIMITTI LLC is their official representative in the United States. Our store brings these made-in-Italy underwear, undershirts and layering tops to US customers.

The Italian manufacturer

Founded by the Bressan family in 1966, Maglificio Ma.Re. is based in Chions, Italy. The manufacturer describes a vertical production process from fabrics to finished garments and a supply chain with selected Italian suppliers. Each brand has its own product families, fabrics and finishes.

EGi: refined underwear and layering tops

EGi offers wool-and-silk tops, MicroWool merino blends, cotton and other material ranges. The fabric composition depends on the style. Explore EGi products, women's wool-and-silk tops and women's MicroWool tops. Our EGi material and fit guide explains the difference between these two ranges.

MaRe: Italian everyday underwear

MaRe makes practical underwear and undershirts in cotton and other fabric constructions. Browse women's Mako cotton, men's Mako cotton and women's brushed cotton. Check each garment for its exact fabric and any separate layers.

Basic Cotton: cotton basics made in Italy

Basic Cotton offers everyday cotton tanks, camisoles, shirts and layering pieces. Some styles are 100% cotton and others use blends. Shop Basic Cotton for women and Basic Cotton for men.

Your US representative

TITTIMITTI LLC represents these three brands in the United States and sells their products through tittimitti.com. Maglificio Ma.Re. is the manufacturer; EGi, MaRe and Basic Cotton are the garment brands. The separate TITTIMITTI merchandise brand also has its own products.

Fit guidance: Based on our selling experience, many garments run small. If you are between sizes or prefer a looser fit, choose the next size up, following any product-specific guidance. Product pages provide the offered sizes, colors, price and availability.
