Sending an EGi modal slip to a laundry service: keep its care label

par TITTIMITTI

Keep the garment’s instructions with the garment

If you use a laundry service, show the sewn care label on the EGi 1129 full slip before agreeing to a cleaning method. Its wide lace hem and modal-blend body are details to identify, not instructions for a particular machine programme.

Do not supply an invented temperature

The current online description lists 95% modal and 5% elastane but does not publish a numeric washing temperature or tumble-dryer setting. It would be misleading to assign this garment the cold-wash sock instructions simply because both products are sold by TITTIMITTI. Ask for clarification if the care label cannot be read.

Keep the correct model record

The Italian-made EGi 1129 is a full slip with a wide lace hem, offered in Small/Medium and Large/X-Large. Keep its product record so that any question identifies the correct garment rather than another modal item. A successful laundry routine for one garment does not establish the instructions for every EGi style.
