A simple first layer starts with the right neckline and sleeves. EGi RAW-CUT offers three Italian scoop-neck tops in a declared blend of 84% cotton / 16% elastane.

Choose the sleeve shape first

The 3100 tank avoids an additional sleeve beneath your outfit. The 3103 T-shirt adds short sleeves, while the 3104 elbow-sleeve top offers longer coverage. Compare their photographs with the sleeves and neckline of your outer clothing.

Understand the clean-cut finish

The product descriptions identify a raw, clean-cut edge finish for a minimalist look. Check the photographs for how the neckline and hem sit. This finish is distinct from a claim that the garment has no seams anywhere.

Color and outer fabric matter

When choosing a layer beneath a light or fine shirt, compare its color and fit with the outer fabric. A title using “invisible” does not guarantee that the top will disappear beneath every outfit or in every light.

Check your preferred fit

The tops are described as close-fitting layers. Select from the actual sizes offered and follow product-specific guidance. If you are between sizes or prefer a looser fit, consider the next offered size up, based on our experience that many EGi styles run small.
