EGi Women’s Modal & MicroModal: Collection Guide

Explore EGi women’s Italian modal clothing through the Modal collection and MicroModal collection. Both currently contain the same 17 garments, so this shared guide helps you compare styles across either shopping page.

Composition

The current product listings declare 95% modal and 5% elastane. Modal is a regenerated cellulose fiber; elastane is a synthetic stretch fiber. Decorative lace and tulle need to be considered separately where applicable. The current listings do not establish a different fiber composition for the MicroModal collection.

Plain, lace or tulle?

Plain camisoles and tanks: compare the strap width and neckline for everyday layering. Styles 1130 and 1131 are useful starting points.

Lace-trim styles: choose the decorative shape you prefer and check where the lace sits against your outer clothing. Styles 1135 and 1137 explicitly state that their lace trim is unlined and see-through, and its pattern may vary. Other styles should be checked individually.

Tulle styles: the range includes the 1305 tank and a long-sleeve tulle top. Inspect product photographs for panel placement and coverage.

Match the garment to your outfit

Camisoles and tanks offer sleeveless options. T-shirts, long-sleeve tops and turtlenecks give different neckline and sleeve coverage. The 1129 slip/chemise is a different garment shape from the tops; compare its product photographs and sizing before choosing.

Fit and length

Many EGi styles run small in our selling experience. Several listings also describe a slim fit and short cut. If you are between sizes or prefer a looser fit, choose the next offered size up. A larger size does not replace checking the style’s length and construction. Product-specific guidance takes priority.
