Choosing EGi Modal Tops: Plain, Lace or Tulle?
Choosing a modal layer starts with the shape and coverage you want. EGi’s women’s Modal collection and MicroModal collection currently offer the same selection of 17 Italian garments, with listings declaring 95% modal / 5% elastane.
Plain styles for a simple neckline
Compare the spaghetti-strap camisole 1130 and plain tank 1131 when you want a simple layer. Match their neckline and straps to the shirt, cardigan or jacket you intend to wear.
Lace when you want a decorative edge
Lace can become a visible detail beneath an open neckline. Check the lace position and coverage before selecting a style. The listings for 1135 and 1137 state that the lace trim is unlined and see-through, and that its pattern may vary.
Tulle panels need a closer look
For the tulle tank 1305 and long-sleeve tulle top, inspect the product photographs to understand where the decorative panels sit. Choose according to how much coverage you want and whether the top will be worn alone or beneath other clothing.
Check fit as well as size
Many EGi styles run small in our selling experience, and some listings describe a slim fit and short cut. If you are between sizes or prefer a looser fit, choose the next offered size up. Always follow the individual product’s guidance.
